Jule Jarner teamed up with Moree PCYC to run a mural workshop using MDF boards, spray paint, and natures stencils made from leaves, branches and palm fronds.
After some demonstrations and discussions, the kids from the Moree NSW Police Force Youth Program practiced their new skills on scrap cardboard. Once the kids gained confidence in creating stencils, sillouhettes and spray painting we were able to split into 4 groups and create a series of 4 beautiful murals. These unique creations will now be displayed inside Moree PCYC’s basketball court.
This education workshop is a prime example of how creative kids can be when they are engaged and focussed. We could not be prouder of their efforts!
We’d like to thank Moree PCYC and NSWPF Moree for inviting us to teach such a wonderful group of kids.
